Great Oscars Moments: “I Love It Up Here!”
My all-time favorite Oscars moment is Julia Robert accepting her Oscar for Erin Brockovich.
She starts by telling the “man with the stick” to go ahead and sit down because she has some things to say and may never be on that stage again. She noted that her award was “quite pretty,” and ended by yelling “I love it up here!”
This clip has extra significance after this summer because Julia gives a should out to a couple of my bosses from the summer, and you can see them sitting next to Danny DeVito when the camera cuts to him.
